K Chandrashekhar Rao tells cadre to propagate TRS manifesto
Deccan Chronicle, May 29, 2013
Karimnagar: TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao asked the party cadre to take the manifesto of the party to every nook and corner in Telangana with an aim to ensure party win 100 Assembly and 16 Lok Sabha seats in the next elections.
Chandrasekhar Rao spoke at the political training programme for party activists at Husnabad on Tuesday. He said Telangana people should reject ‘Seemandhra’ parties Telugu Desam and YSRC and national parties Congress and BJP as they too were under the control of Seemandhra leaders.
Chandrasekhar Rao said he would not take any post after the formation of Telangana state and act as a ‘watchdog’ to ensure all the promises of the party are fulfilled in the new state. He explained the hindrances in achieving Telangana and the benefits to be accrued to the people of the region once the long cherished dream of separate state is realised.
Former MP B. Vinod Kumar, Capt. Lakshmikanta Rao, district party unit president Eeda Shankar Reddy, poet Nandini Sidhareddy, Kakatiya University professor Samba Murthy, Husnabad constituency in-charge Voditela Satish Kumar and others took part in the programme.
