KCR’s new deadline for Telangana-2014
7 August 2011 Siasat
Hyderabad, August 07: Few weeks back KCR has told the people that, he got a highly confidential report from New Delhi that states the Center is going to make a favorable declaration on Telangana issue within 2weeks. Now, he extends that period from 2 weeks to two-two and half years. He gave this new deadline during the launching Audio of ‘Poru Telangana’ movie at Hyderabad.
Addressing the people he said “I accept Sonia Gandhi is sick. But, it doesn’t mean that we have to wait until her arrival? If she falls sick does the Government stop functioning? Is there no Prime Minister to take a decision on this issue? When the Congress party thinks Sonia Gandhi ‘s life is very precious to it, we too believe that our Telangana students lives are very precious for us. We can’t halt our agitations for anyone’s sake. After all how many days can they prolong this issue? They can’t go beyond 2014. The elections will clear the air and bring us Telangana state. In the mean time we have to keep united and fight out the Government for our cause. I request all the Telangana youth not to commit suicides for Telangana. We shouldn’t loose our confidence at this point. All we have to do is keep fighting until we achieve our goal.”
