‘People from other parts can live in Hyderabad’
New Indian Express: 25 Jan 2010
HYDERABAD: Telangana protagonists are not opposed to people from other regions living in Hyderabad but they oppose only the exploitation by others, Convener of all-party Joint Action Committee (JAC) C Kodandaram said.
“People from other parts of the state and country can live in Hyderabad. The tradition of Hyderabad is ‘Ganga Jamuna tehzeeb’ — that is peaceful co-existence of all,” he said.
Kodandaram was speaking after flagging off ‘Telangana Sahjeevan Run’ — a symbolic event to show that Telangana supporters are not opposed to people from other regions.
The Run was organised for a distance of about 10 kms from Moosapet to Kukatpally housing board colony
