Telangana Essay Contest

Telangana Utsav Committee invites entries from college and university students for an essay competition to commemorate Telangana Liberation Day on September 17  

Students from Intermediate or Degree College can write an essay on the topic ” Separate Telangana: Role of Youth” or “స్థానికుల ఉద్యోగ హక్కు – తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం” in less than 2000 words. University students and research scholars can write an essay on the topic ” Separate Telangana: Struggle and Elections” or “ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం- అనుభవాలు, గుణపాఠాలు“  in less than 4000 words.  

Students should send their essays in English or Telugu with their full name, age, address, telephone number and college name before the last date.  

Select essays will be considered for publication in a book ” Separate State – Voices of Telangana Youth” or for dissemination through website. The best essays will be awarded with certificates and cash prizes during 59^th Telangana Liberation celebrations at Hyderabad in September 2007. 

The last date for submission of entries is September 10, 2007

a) Telangana Utsav reserves the right to edit the selected essays prior to publication or dissemination through website. b) All essays will be evaluated by Telangana Utsav Committee and its decision is final. c) Entries selected for the prizes will be informed.
